Researching Intimate Partner Violence and Reproductive Health
We explore the complex relationship between intimate partner violence (IPV), reproductive coercion, and pregnancy intention — with a focus on advancing reproductive justice, health equity, autonomy, and self-efficacy for people with capacity for pregnancy.
About Our Lab
Our lab investigates how intimate partner violence, reproductive coercion, and pregnancy intention shape reproductive and sexual health outcomes. We center the experiences of people with capacity for pregnancy who face violence and coercion, and aim to inform policy, clinical practice, and structural change.
Grounded in anti-racist research methods and equity-driven frameworks, we work to uncover both individual and systemic factors that contribute to reproductive health inequities. Our goal is to generate knowledge that promotes autonomy, supports healing, and advances justice within and beyond healthcare settings.
